Bicycles locked to CSR fence Empty Bicycles locked to CSR fence

Post  la Wong Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:14 am

I have noticed that more and more bicycles are locked onto CSR's metal fence nearer Jalan Besar side (next to our tennis courts). Besides being unsightly, this will cause damage to our metal fence. Such act of locking bicycles to private property is illegal, and the metal chains may be cut. To be nice to bicycle owners who are "ignorant", we may place a signage at both ends of the fence. Could the Management take this up, please?

Bicycles locked to CSR fence Empty Sell off the bikes after cutting the chains

Post  City Guy Wed Jun 09, 2010 7:29 pm

1. The bicycles are infringing on private property.
2. Nobody technically owns the bicycles since there are no license plates on them. [That is why the owners are so cocky; parking all over the place and riding them if they owned both the roads and pavements.]

You should just get a cutter to cut the chains, and then sell the bicycle to the nearest bike shop.
You could also earn some decent pocket money...

Bicycles locked to CSR fence Empty Even motorcycles parked in front of CSR pavement

Post  la Wong Fri Jun 11, 2010 1:34 pm

Even the motorcyclists are now more daring. They used to park behind along the pavement facing the park. Now, some of them blatantly park their motorcycles in the front pavement (facing CSR Mall). What are the Management and security guards doing? Can something be done about it? If this is not checked, very soon some of the motorcyclists may be parking close to the main entrance.
