Smoking near swimming pool

This morning about 6:33am on my way to work, I saw some Chinese national smoking near the poolside. However, this is not the first time. This group of Chinese nationals used to swim very early around this timing. There was one incident that a Caucasian and these Chinese nationals had quarrelled and nearly want to fight over smoking issue. So where are the security guards? All sitting at the guard post or sleeping? Shouldn't they be patrolling around? If CCTV is install near the pool, shouldn't they view the incident? MA, can u advise?

Wednesday night from 1am unti 345am a group of 5 men/women made loud noise, banging beer bottles and challenged security guards why they will not leave. They reasoned that they pay 4000$ and have right to use when they wanted. Called police in, and by that time the group left.

We need to have better enforcement of common area usage. Report made to mgmt office - let's see what steps they take.

I suggest that the management put up signs at prominent locations around the pools and the condo that smoking is prohibited. Cigarette butts and boxes are commonly found around the condo.
What a shame!

My Comment: First and foremost, smoking ought to be banned in our common facility areas just like in all the places where non-smokers cannot move away like waiting and eating places so let's start here eg the poolside/barbeque table areas.
